"I know Fraise... But what has been done.. I didn't just hurt you, it hurt me. I trusted him...Seems I misplace my trust sometimes." Jesiah had overheard and growled, making his whole body boil and spike emerge.

She sighed "Jesiah...I know you are still there...go back to your room...now...stop tormenting yourself. If you care about him at all...just stop.." she kept her eyes closed listing to Aziales breathing.

He sighed and walked down the stairs weakly, opening the front door. The sun began to burn his frail skin but he didn't care. It wouldn't kill him but it would hurt him a lot. But right now, only pain could fix any of this to him.

Fraise sighed and looked up at Aziale, "Who was he...before he died...do you know?"

"Not really, all he ever told me was his name is Jesiah and his tragic accident. That's it."

"what was his tragic accident?"

"He was raped by his mother and aunts at the age of five. My dear, all these children have tragic accident or pasts, and that is why they are here. In his case, you now know why he hates women."

She frowned "That's....horrible...just...why would anyone do that to someone..it's..I don't blame him for feeling the way he does."

"He may feel that way but he doesn't have to act upon it....Ayways...I think we both could use some rest." I yawned and held her tightly, my breathing slowing as I fell into a sleep.

She sighed and closed her eyes "Men don't understand things.." slowly she began to drift into a sleep

She awoke the next morning, to see him still sleeping. Sighing softly she watched him sleep as her thoughts swam threw her head. She hardly knew this man..yet she didn't want to be from his side that much she knew for sure. Then there was the topic of the children...mostly Jesiah and how he hated her. She wanted him to be able to be happy, she hated the pain he had went threw and was going threw now.

I awoke and turned over, going back to sleep almost immediately. "Mmmm....the children need food Fraise...Be a dear and make...them...some.." I yawned and curled up into the bed sheets more, groaning as it was morning.

She smiled softly and nodded, slipping out of bed she headed down stairs. It didn't take her long, but she made lobster waffles for them along with crab sausage. She sat the plates down for the children and called them in. Once they arrived she headed back upstairs to lay with Aziale.

I groaned and then noticed her and smiled. " Thank you.....And don't worry....I wont hurt him...."

She smiled and curled up next to him "I know...I just wanted to lay here with you..." she blushed softly.

I smiled and held her close. I felt at peace with her, even if I could kill her with a simple flick of the wrist. It made her all the more precious to me. Every time I stared at her, my heart flickered and a light was lit in my heart. I felt so happy but yet....I felt a sense of discomfort. My heart still yearned for my deceased wife and I knew her soul would eventually haunt me.

She closed her eyes and listened to his heart. She didn't understand why she desired this man so. Only that she did, she was at complete peace in his arms, and he always smelt..so good.

"I suppose this can't last forever...." I murmured to myself, feeling saddened now. She would die of old age. I wasn't a vampire, I couldn't just bite her and make her into me. I would have to give up half of my life force to her to make her what I was, and that had a slim chance for survival.

He may have just been speaking to himself, but she still hear him. "What do you mean Sir..." I whispered looking up at him.

"Nothing....I was just thinking Fraise...that's all. Sorry if it made you worry." My eyes were a cool orange hue, my face softened and my humanity completely in tact. Today was going to be a sane day for me.

she nodded knowing he wasn't telling her the truth but letting it slide anyway, she rested her head on his chest again and closed her eyes. She found herself clinging to him.

She was clinging to me and I couldn't help but smile. I was at peace for now, until someone ruins it that is. You see, I have a feeling Alice is going to barge in and demand something. She always does. Wait. I haven't seen her for a bit, I wonder where she could.. Bah, no matter, I'm cuddling.

Jesiah walked back into the mansion and sat upon a chair near the kitchen table, his face burned a bit and his eyes dull. "Idiotic woman... How dare she.....How dare she love...him..He's mine.."

She moved so she could look at him "Aziale...why didn't you kill me? I mean...not to sound ungrateful...but you said you've killed everyone before me. What makes me so special.." her eyes were glued onto his curiously.

I grinned and came into the kitchen where Jesiah sat, my golden locks bounced with me as I walked to him. "Father has never been yours" I giggled at him. "Father was my mothers before I came along. Father doesn't like men like that. And you have it backwards silly little dead man. She belongs to father, so selfish not to want him to be happy. And yet you say you love him." My voice was that of a taunting child made to make him upset. I enjoyed pestering Jesiah, it was my daily hobby. At least for when I was around that is.

"Why would your opinion matter to me? He never wanted you in the first place vile wench." He spat the words out like venom and walked away, knocking over a porcelain doll that Alice oh so loved. He grinned and vanished from sight, leaving her with the broken doll.

I stared at her and blinked, wondering why it had come up. "Fraise.. Why did you decide to ask that?" I couldn't help but utter it. She was special and that's all there was to it. She caught my eye just as my deceased wife had. End of story.
